Join Friends of Waterfront Seattle for a panel discussion on the history of cannery labor on the Seattle waterfront led by Jennifer Ott of HistoryLink. is a free online encyclopedia of Washington state and local history, and the first and largest encyclopedia of community history created expressly for the Internet.

The Source series is a sequence of community open house events celebrating our waterfront as a source of heritage, creative inspiration, and appreciation for the natural world. It also celebrates Waterfront Space, the project showroom for Waterfront Seattle, a source for project information and community engagement.

All Source events include refreshments and a brief program presenting new perspectives on our waterfront’s history, ecology and art.
