During the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Seattle Chapter's June breakfast, attendees will learn from a seasoned executive coach how to develop your career by growing your confidence and expanding your influence within your firm. Communicating a confident executive presence can be crucial to your career success. Studies have shown that “executive presence” counts for 26% of what it takes to advance your career and get promoted. Other studies show only 45% of women believe “executive presence” is important to promotion.

During this program, you will learn:

• The four characteristics most crucial to developing “executive presence.”
• How to “command the room” with one simple move you already know how to do.
• Breakthroughs in neuroscience on how to “read” what other people truly mean.

About the Presenter:

Margo’s natural curiosity has prompted her to jump out of an airplane, cover the downfall of General Manuel Noriega in Panama with US Army troops, fly with the Blue Angels, and learn how to scuba dive. Now she uses her curiosity to help clients uncover personal roadblocks, play to their strengths, and identify strategies to get them promoted.

SMPS is a national association that promotes marketing and management success in professional service firms. The Seattle Chapter of SMPS is one of the oldest chapters in the United States. It is comprised of approximately 250 members who work in or support the local A/E/C industry.
