Matthew Kreilich, design principal of Snow Kreilich Architects, recipient of AIA’s 2018 Architecture Firm Award, will discuss the importance of context as a design generator for their work and their studio’s obsession with detail and assembly to bring those ideas to life. Snow Kreilich’s work has been described as a “mutual intensification of both building and site.” Learn about their continuing exploration of architecture’s ability to transform and enhance one’s experience of place and the culture of the studio in which this occurs.
