Join your fellow landscape architecture students and professionals for an afternoon of sketching on the Seattle waterfront! The demolition of the Alaskan Way Viaduct is a pivotal time of transition for this part of our city – it provides a unique opportunity to explore and capture the waterfront in a state of change.

Atttendees will meet at the Waterfront Space and embark in small groups to explore, draw, and contemplate this moment in time. This will then be followed up with an opportunity to peruse one another’s works and discuss our observations of the area’s transitions and the method of sketching as documentation. Light refreshments will be served at the Waterfront Space after the Sketch Crawl.
