Put on by GGN, UW Landscape Architecture Department, UW School of Art+Art History+Design, Division of Design
The world of the graphic designer is often confined to the flat realms of paper and screens. Michael Bierut will discuss what happens when the discipline engages with architecture, both as a subject, as a context, and as a challenge. He is a partner at Pentagram, New York; teacher at Yale School of Art and Yale School of Management; and author of Now You See It and Other Essays on Design.
This lecture is FREE and open to the public, but you are asked to register.
