6 – 8pm
Put on by IxDA Seattle
Everyone experiences the world differently. When creating experiences meant for a wide variety of people, how should designers consider those differences? How can we use that knowledge to design experiences that truly resonate with people? In this event attendees will extend the practice of User Experience, from screens to physical spaces, as they learn how they can create engaging, relevant, and meaningful learning experiences for diverse audiences in an environment.
With decades of experience in designing museums and using multimedia interactively to tell stories and create engaging learning spaces, Charlotte Beall will dive deep into the processes of designing physical interactive experiences for audiences with different learning and developmental styles to engage people of different experiences, abilities, and backgrounds.
Join IxDA Seattle at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center at 6PM to experience the space and view the latest exhibit. Charlotte’s presentation will follow the exploration time.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to Be:Seattle. Contact the sponsors at [email protected] if you need assistance to attend the event.
