Join KCTS 9 for a preview and discussion of the upcoming PBS show, Craft in America: Nature. The episode celebrates the beauty, inspiration, and future of the American landscape. Featured artists include book artist Catherine Alice Michaelis, sculptor Patrick Doughtery, fiber artist Mary Merkel-Hess, woodworker Michelle Holzapfel, and glass artist Preston Singletary.

Watch a 30-minute preview of Craft in America: Nature followed by a moderated discussion with local glass artist, Preston Singletary and KCTS 9 Executive Producer Stephen Hegg. An audience Q&A will follow.

This event is free and open to the public. Space is available on a first come, first serve basis. Please be sure to RSVP through the event's Eventbrite page.

About the Artist: Preston Singletary's glass work incorporates many layering and etching techniques he invented, creating stunning glass forms embellished with Tlingit imagery. His practice and work continue to evolve, connecting his personal cultural perspective to modern art movements.

Craft in America: Nature will air on KCTS 9 on Friday, April 21 at 10pm.
