The Tacoma Art Museum presents Coast to Cascades: C.C. McKim's Impressionist Vision.

See C.C. McKim's lovely impressionist works in the latest installment of TAM's Northwest Perspective Series. Enjoy a peaceful respite as you peruse 43 of his light-filled paintings in the Haub Family Galleries.

McKim’s artistic career flourished in Portland, Oregon, during the early 1900s. His Oregon landscapes capture the unique beauty and character of the Northwest. As both artist and mentor, he was influential in popularizing impressionist painting in this region. Coast to Cascades and the exhibition catalogue present a survey of his career and explore his impact on the Northwest art scene.

Co-curated by Margaret Bullock, TAM’s Curator of Collections and Special Exhibitions, and art historian and gallerist Mark Humpal from Portland.
