Join Bellflower Chocolate Company to learn the basics of the chocolate-making process. The focus will be on making dark chocolate from raw cacao beans to finished bars. You’ll discuss what contributes to the final flavor of chocolate as well as a bit about the science behind chocolate. This will be a hands-on class so please wear clothing to which you do not have an emotional attachment. The class will last about two hours and students will be able to take home some finished chocolate.

Experience the molten, hissing, rumbling inner workings of Seattle’s landmark steel mill. Nucor’s hulking mill complex, located beside the West Seattle Bridge, has been in operation for over 110 years. The tour will include all areas of production, and you will see firsthand how recycled metal is turned into new steel while you learn about the history of the plant and steel industry.

Document your project with a half-day architectural photoshoot by photographer Andrew van Leeuwen of BUILD llc, including exteriors and interiors, along with post-processing work. Finished, high-resolution architectural photos will be delivered to the recipient in the digital format of their preference. The recipient may choose any project they like within an hour's drive of Seattle. The photoshoot will result in 10–20 photos depending on the project and desired results.

ChefShop Tapas Cooking Class - SOLD
Learn the history and origins of some of the most commonly used Spanish ingredients as you learn how to prepare a variety of tapas dishes including piquillo pepper stuffed with tuna, citrus-marinated olives, marcona almonds with rosemary and sea salt, deviled dates, and more, all taught by an expert chef from ChefShop at an in-home cooking class.
The class is limited to 12 participants. Class options and date, time, and location must be arranged in advance. Date/time/location are subject to chef availability. Locations more than 1/2 hour from downtown Seattle are subject to a travel charge. Any locations that require extra travel expenses (such as ferry fare and tolls) will be charged extra. Class includes all fresh and pantry ingredients needed for the class, but does not include liquid refreshments; liquid refreshments are the responsibility of the homeowner. Class does not include serviceware or utensils. It is assumed that the homeowner has enough and appropriate glasses, plates, serving platters, and silverware. No server/prep chef will accompany the chef to help prep, serve and clean up (additional server/prep chef available for an additional $100.00).
